UNPRI A+ Rating Retained

Davy Global Fund Management (‘DGFM’) is pleased to announce that it has retained its A+ rating for Strategy & Governance, the highest possible score, from the UN-backed Principles for Responsible Investment (‘PRI’). The PRI’s Strategy & Governance module relates to the depth of Environmental Social and Governance ('ESG') integration processes across an investment firm and highlights the level of innovation that is applied when incorporating ESG factors into their investment processes. The retention of our A+ rating serves as independent recognition of DGFM’s ongoing commitment to sustainable investing and the strength of our integrated investment process.

Mission of the PRI

The PRI believes that an economically efficient, sustainable global financial system is a necessity for long-term value creation. Such a system will reward long-term, responsible investment and will benefit both the environment and society. The PRI works to achieve this sustainable global financial system by encouraging the adoption of the Principles and by collaborating on their implementation; by fostering good governance, integrity and accountability; and by addressing obstacles to a sustainable financial system that lie within market practices, structures and regulations.

What are the Principles for Responsible Investment?

The PRI works with its international network of signatories, which includes DGFM, to put into practice the six Principles for Responsible Investment. Its goals are to understand the investment implications of ESG issues and to support signatories in integrating these issues into their investment and ownership processes and decisions.

DGFM is proud to partner with the PRI

At DGFM, the adoption of responsible investment principles is an integral part of our investment process and we view this as a critical element of our fiduciary duty to clients. We follow an investor-led approach to ESG whereby our investment decision-makers drive ESG integration across the entire firm. We believe this approach yields more meaningful results than having an ESG function which works in isolation. We are proud to be members of the PRI and look forward to continuing our partnerships with other investment firms and distributors to increase awareness of and collaborate on sustainable investing issues.
